The Law of Attraction Defined
What is the definition of the Law of Attraction? In it’s simplest form the definition of the Law of Attraction states that whatever a person focuses their thoughts on is what they will manifest and attract into their life as reality.
I’ll give you an example. Let’s assume for a moment that you are single and wish to attract a mate. If you use the Law of Attraction you would focus your thoughts around the mate you wish to attract. It’s important to be specific here and visualize your ideal mate. You need to fix a picture of your ideal mate in your mind’s eye. That way the image will become ingrained in your subconscious mind as well. Then you would keep thoughts of gratitude in your mind that each day you are that much closer to meeting your ideal mate. Positive thoughts and gratitude are the key to success. If you allow negative thoughts to enter your mind, you can sabotage the entire thing. Or worse yet, you end up attracting someone you didn’t want because you were so focused on what you don’t want.
Some writers have defined the Law of Attraction as Universal Law. They believe that a source of energy permeates the Universe. They also believe that our thoughts are energy and that when you send out a thought it can have positive or negative energy. In this way “like attracts like”. The Universe doesn’t make the decision whether you deserve something or not, and outcomes are neither good or bad. The outcome only becomes good or bad in your perception of the outcome. So to attract things into your life that you perceive are good, you must raise your thought’s vibrational energy. Positive thoughts will manifest positive outcomes in your life, and negative thoughts will maifest negative outcomes. So the goal is to consciously think positive thoughts, so that these positive thoughts become ingrained in your subconscious mind. In that way your subconscious mind will be radiating positive energy into the Universe, and the Universe will reflect that positive energy back in the form of what you need.

The main thing is to focus on what you want to manifest into your life. Whether it’s money, romance, a new car, whatever. One way to stay focused on what you want involves affirmations. Affirmations are things you say to yourself or out loud that affirm your desires. One way to use affirmations would be to write down in a journal the thing you want in your life. Be very specific. Then several times a day you would read that to yourself, or read it out loud, as a way to ingrain that thought into your subconscious mind. One good way to help ingrain your desire is to write it on a note, and post it on the mirror in your bathroom. Then each morning when you wake up, before the thoughts and distractions of the day come at you, you read the affirmation out loud. In your mind, imagine what it feels like to already have your desire. Then visualize the gratitude you have for the Universe providing you with your desire.
If you practice this daily you will eventually achieve the ability to master manifesting the desires of your heart at will. Just think about them and they will come into your life at the right moment.
