The Law Of Attraction And Your Thoughts
The law of attraction teaches us that whatever we focus our thoughts on is what we attract into our lives. Our thoughts, emotions, and feelings act as a powerful magnet. They create and attract circumstances into our lives. Whether these circumstances are positive or negative, is completely dependent on our thoughts! Simply stated, the Law of Attraction says that we attract into our lives the objects or circumstances where place our dominant thoughts. In other words, if we focus predominantly on abundance, solutions and positive outcomes then that is exactly what we will attract back into our lives.
The Law of Attraction teaches us that whatever you focus on, you will attract MORE of into your life–whether it’s wanted or unwanted. To deliberately attract more of what you enjoy, you need do only three things:
- Be very clear about what you want–write it down, use visualization to actually see that which you desire. Imagine how it will feel when you have what you desire. See what you desire as already yours.
- Become a vibrational match for what you want–speak only in the most positive way about your desire and remember the three phrases that will raise your vibration faster:

I LOVE it when…
- Allow the Law of Attraction to deliver! Just eliminate doubt and receive what you’ve asked for.
There is a dangerous flip side to this law, however – if we focus on lack, problems, and negative outcomes, then that is exactly what we will attract.
Did you ever have one of those days when nothing seemed to go right? Of course, we all have, right? If you were to be able to go back and observe the events of this day along with your thoughts you might just uncover a surprising truth. You may have woken up and your coffee wasn’t ready, or there was no hot water for your morning shower. Whatever it may have been, you probably reacted with annoyance and negative thoughts. If you carried those negative thoughts with you, you might very well attract the next thing, like getting a ticket on the way to work. Now you are really irritated and instead of letting these two minor things go and bringing back good thoughts, you remain sour and maybe even feel sorry for yourself. Maybe you keep thinking of all the bad things that have ever happened to you. Guess what? You are just sending out more negative energy that will certainly lead to the next “bad” thing. The more we place our focus on the bad day we are having the worse things get.
The solution is to change our frame of reference. Take the negative emotions and change them to be either positive or at least neutral. Look for the lesson in every situation. Learning to laugh at ourselves is another great way to change our reference point. If we break the cycle of negativity, things will begin to turn around almost immediately.
What You Can Do
There are two things that you can start doing immediately that will help you to harness the awesome power of the Law of Attraction:
1. Ask yourself the question: Do I focus on Lack or Abundance (or stated another way, Am I problem-focused or solution-focused)? If you answered, Lack / Problems then set out to immediately change your frame of reference. Change your habits and thought patterns to be more positive and solution-focused.
2. Take full responsibility for whatever is happening in your life, be it good or bad. You have attracted the good as well as the bad, so taking responsibility will allow you to make the choice to change your thinking.
Positive thinking on its own will not solve all of your problems, however, it is one of a series of things that we all have the power to implement which will get us on the path to leading the life we want.
How to Attract Positive Things
If you want to use the Law of Attraction to attract the things you desire the first thing you must do is remove doubt. How is it possible to eliminate all doubt? Is there a way to overpower a small amount of doubt?. What is the opposite of doubt? CERTAINTY.
How does it feel when you have certainty? Have you ever had a time in your life when you were certain about something? What did that certainty look or feel like to you at that moment? Have you ever had the feeling beyond any doubt that you were going to get what you desired? That is the feeling of certainty.
What is great is that the Law of Attraction doesn’t necessarily wait for you to have total certainty to start manifesting what you desire. You just have to have a little more belief than doubt in the outcome. Although thoughts with 100% certainty might bring your desires to you faster, even having a few doubts will not prevent you from attracting your desires using the Law of Attraction.
Once you become more certain in the outcome than your doubts, you will start to see things coming together that will point out to you that your desire is coming to pass. These events will be evident if you remain observant and they will continue to raise your certainty you will achieve your desire. You should acknowledge them and show gratitude that you are getting closer to your desire. As you do these things you will notice things begin to fall into place and unexpected circumstances that appear as if by chance that keep bringing you closer to your desired outcome.
