Spirituality and The Law of Attraction
You might be inclined to think that to be a spiritual person you must experience lack and struggle in life. The Law of Attraction would therefore not fit into your belief system. But why should you have to experience struggles in life to lead a spiritual existence?
Others believe that the two aren’t mutually exclusive. They believe you can use the Law of Attraction and live a spiritually fulfilling life. Let’s use money as an example. Some say that money is the root of all evil. They will shun money to prove they are a spiritual being. But let’s turn this around and think of it from another angle. Is it wrong to have things you desire, and perhaps have some left over to help those less fortunate? Couldn’t that also be a noble goal within a spiritual life? Wouldn’t the use of the Law of Attraction to attract money into your life and use to help others be a worthwhile goal. In my opinion, it would. I believe that to use the Law of Attraction to hoard money and come at it from a place of positive results for yourself must come at the expense of others would be a misuse of the Law of Attraction. In fact, I believe the Law of Attraction would then balance things out by manifesting circumstances that would take away all the gains to restore balance.
One of the main beliefs in the theory of the Law of Attraction is that there is plenty in the Universe for everyone. So believing you must climb to the top over others is a false belief. The Law of Attraction works when our thoughts want what is highest and best for everyone. Isn’t this also a noble spiritual goal?

Part of living a spiritual life is realizing that we are all interconnected. You are connected to your family, community, the Earth and the Universe. Working in your life to be a positive influence on all these can be part of a spiritual life. When you realize the interconnections we have all around us, you soon realize there are no random meetings of people and no truly random events. It’s the old saying, “Everything happens for a reason”. You may not realize it at the time, but later on, you can come to realize the purpose if you stay true to yourself and watch and listen.
The Golden Rule states, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. If you practice the Golden Rule, you will see abundance flow into your life. If you go about your day with gratitude and joy, it will flow back to you. An example would be when you interact with other people, do you smile and say thank you, or are you sullen and ignore them. I bet if you give a genuine smile and thank someone, in 99.9% of cases they will return the smile and say you’re welcome.
My belief is that the Law of Attraction and spirituality are not exclusive. Using the Law of Attraction to bring abundance into your life that you can share with others is not losing your spirituality. Please let me know what you think in the comments below.
